Born in Shiraz in 1963, Moshiri currently lives and works in Tehran, Iran. Moshiri studied fine art and filmmaking at the California Institute of the Arts. His work has gained far recognition in galleries, museums and institutional exhibitions in Paris, London, Geneva, New York and Tehran to name a few. His work appears in major art collections around the world, both private and public such as the Virginia Museum in London and has been previously commissioned for site-specific works at the East lobby of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). An in-depth monograph of his works was published in 2010. In 2011, he was commission by Louis Vuitton to produce works for their UAE stores.
